How to set up Late Time Entry Analysis
Administrators can set up and adjust the Late Time Entry dashboards settings from the ConnectWise Late Time Entry Settings page. Below are the settings that can be adjusted from this page.
Late Time Entry Settings
This section allows you to exclude users and work types when generating the Late Time Entry report, and set the baseline for the acceptable average late hours for technicians.
- Go to Settings and click ConnectWise Late Time Entry Settings.
- Exclude users by selecting technician names from the Exclude user(s) list.
- Exclude work types selecting swork types from the Exclude work type(s) list.
- In the What is your threshold for late time entries? field, enter the acceptable average late hours in hours or minutes.

Team Member (for the game feature)
This section allows you to create teams and assign team members for the Late Time Entry Analysis App's game feature. Setting up this feature helps promote an environment where everybody is encouraged to engage in healthy competition and good work habits.
To set up teams:
- Go to Settings and then click ConnectWise Late Time Entry Settings.
- In the Team Member section, enter a Team Name and assign a Team ID.
- Add members by selecting user names from the Team Member user list.
- Click Submit.
Bots related to the app
The Late Time Entry Alert for ConnectWise Manage bot alert users whenever they log a time entry after their scheduled ticket end day and time. Enable the Trigger and Alert, allowing technicians to receive alert messages on Microsoft Teams whenever they log a late time entry.
