Pax8 Integration Setup

A successful Pax8 integration with MSPbots gives clients access to Pax8 apps within the MSPbots app like the Pax8 Billing Reconciliation App. This article shows the steps for setting up this integration.

Prerequisites

You need a Pax8 account and admin permissions in MSPbots to perform the procedure below.  

How to connect Pax8 to MSPbots

1. Sync the Pax8 configuration in the MSPbots app. 

   1. Go back to Integrations.  
   2. Find Pax8 in the Integrations list and click it to open the configurations. 
   3. Click Save and Sync. 
      
      
      
      
   4. Log in to your Pax8 account. 
      
      Please note that after a successful authentication, re-authenticate the Pax8 integration whinin 90 days. For example, re-validate on the 80th day after successful authentication.
      According to the official Pax8 documentation, you need to re-validate at least every 90 days to obtain a new refresh token. If not, the refresh token will expire after 90 days, and data synchronization will stop due to the token's expiration.
      
      
      
      

2. Validate if the integration is successful and check for the following indicators:

   • A Success status 
     
     
     
     

   • Connected status - Your app is under the Connected section.
