Addigy Integration Setup

Connecting MSPbots with Addigy integration gives you access to the latest automations and innovative dashboards for more efficient and unified IT management. Use this article to configure your Addigy integration with MSPbots.

Addigy integration supports the following 6 APIs:
   *   Addigy Public Software
   *   Addigy Alerts
   *   Addigy Applications
   *   Addigy Maintenance
   *   Addigy Devices
   *   Addigy Policies
Differences between Addigy integration and Addigy V2 integration:
   *   The authentication methods are different; which integration to connect to depends on the authorization method you choose to use.
   *   Addigy integration supports 6 APIs, while Addigy V2 integration supports 2 APIs.
   *   Addigy Integration is fully supported by MSPbots, whereas Addigy V2 Integration is in the testing phase.

How to set up the Addigy API and integrate it with MSPbots

1. Generate the Addigy API Key and Secret

  1. Sign in to Addigy.
  2. Go to Account > Integrations in the left column menu.

  3. Scroll down the page to the Addigy API submenu.
  4. Click the V1 button and select New API Token.

  5. Input a Name under the Add API Key section (e.g., MSPbots) then click Save.

  6. Copy and store the V1 Client ID and Client Secret.

  7. The newly created API integration will be shown on the Integrations page. Check the new integration setup in Account > Integration.

2. Get the Site URL

  1. Go to Account > Settings.

  2. Under the General section, set the Subdomain and save your settings.

  3. Copy your Subdomain URL. For example, prod.addigy.com. Store the Subdomain URL somewhere secure, as you'll need to enter the value of the subdomain URL into the Site field for further steps in MSPbots.

    You may be asked for a Domain other than the Client Key and Secret. The domain is the Addigy realm like prod.addigy.com where you created the key.

3. Connect the Addigy API to MSPbots

  1. Log in to MSPbots and navigate to Integrations.

  2. Search for Addigy and click it to open the connection settings.
  3. Fill in the following fields.
    • Site - Enter the copied Subdomain URL value from Step 1.6.
    • Client ID - Enter the copied Client ID value from Step 1.6.
    • Client Secret - Enter the copied Client Secret value from Step 2.3.
  4. Click Save and Sync button.
  5. When Success appears, it means that the Addigy V2 integration has been successfully connected.
