This article guides you on how to cancel your subscription and explains the effective date of the cancellation, whether you need to continue being charged, and the emails sent to you by MSPbots, etc.
To cancel your subscription
- In the MSPbots app, go to Settings > Billing.
- On the Billing screen,
- If your bundle is A la Carte, click More Options > Cancel.
- If your bundle is Startup or Professional, click Cancel.
- If your bundle is A la Carte, click More Options > Cancel.
- Follow the steps below.
- Please read the dialog to know your subscription end date, the date and amount of the final charge, and the date before which you have full access to MSPbots, among other information. For more detailed information, see Cancellation Date and Charge.
- Please fill in the survey as detailed as possible; your feedback is very important for our growth.
- Click Submit.
- When the Subscription cancellation submitted successfully! pop-up window appears, it means your subscription cancellation has been submitted successfully.
After canceling your subscription
1. Changes to the Billing page and Checkout page
For the Billing page
- A banner displays on the Billing page, indicating the date your subscription cancellation takes effect. If you want to restore your subscription, please contact our CSM team: clientsuccess@mspbots.ai.
- The Change, More Options and Cancel buttons are disabled.
For the Checkout page
- A banner indicates the date your subscription cancellation takes effect. If you want to restore your subscription, please contact our CSM team: clientsuccess@mspbots.ai.
- The Save & Continue and Next: Review buttons are disabled.
For the User Management
When you want to add a role to a user in User Management, but that role has already been used up, the Add more users button in the pop-up window is disabled.
2. Sends a confirmation email to the users in the tenant
After you successfully submit a subscription cancellation request, MSPbots sends a confirmation email to:
- The user who executed the reservation, and the user whose invoice address was billing.
- If none of them can be found, MSPbots sends it to the creator of the tenant.
- If it still cannot be found, MSPbots sends it to all the admins under the tenant.

3. Automated subscription termination at scheduled cancellation date
When your subscription's scheduled cancellation date is reached, the scheduled cancellation will be completed automatically.
4. Sends an email to users once the subscription cancellation has been completed
When the cancellation subscription has been completed, MSPbots sends an email to:
- The user who executed the reservation, and the user whose invoice address was billing.
- If none of them can be found, MSPbots sends it to the creator of the tenant.
- If it still cannot be found, MSPbots sends it to all the admins under the tenant.
If you are an A la Carte subscriber who purchased TruPeer Smart Numbers only, then the Cancel icon for the admin seats will be disabled, and the cancel action of the TruPeer app can be clicked.
If you purchased TruPeer Smart Numbers with another product and have two (2) empty admin seats, all purchased items in the a la carte usage are shown on the Billing page, the cancel action of admin seats is disabled, and the cancel action of the TruPeer app can be clicked.
If you have assigned the two (2) admin seats within the app, the Cancel icon for the app will be disabled on the Billing page. You can remove the app from the Checkout page.
