What is the Apps section in the MSPbots MarketPlace?

The Apps tab in the MarketPlace showcases the applications available for purchase and provides essential information to help you choose the right app for your needs. You can also purchase your preferred apps and download updates in this section. 

To access the Apps section, navigate to the MarketPlace in the MSPbots app. Go to MarketPlace > Apps. This article outlines the information and actions you can take in the Apps section.

Prerequisites 

The Apps tab is accessible to all registered MSPbots users; however, you need the following permissions to perform certain actions: 

  • Admin role - Required for installing the selected app
  • Upgrade permission - Required for downloading the updates

View app information and details 

To make an informed decision, you can review an app's details before installing it. Click an app on the Apps list to view: 

  • Features and app description
  • Current version and version description
  • Required integrations and last updated date  
  • Pricing 

Available actions in the Apps section 

Select the appropriate action on the app and click any of the buttons corresponding to the following actions: 

  • Purchase 

  • Install 

    • The Install button installs your selected app.
    • The system checks for missing or failed integrations and reminds you to set up and correct these connections before proceeding with the installation.
    • Please review and agree to the Terms and Conditions to complete the installation.

  • Open  

    • The Open button launches the selected app after it has been installed.
    • When the app is opened, a system check is conducted to ensure data and configurations are complete for proper app functionality. 

  • Update

    • The Update button downloads the updates for the selected app. This button is displayed only when there are new updates available for download.
