Datto RMM Integration Setup

Use this article to connect Datto RMM to MSPbots. 

How to set up the Datto RMM integration

1. Obtain the required field values when connecting to Datto RMM integration

1. Login to Datto RMM as an administrator.
2. Create a user for connecting to MSPbots (ignore this step if already exists).
   1. Access the Users page.
   2. Refer to the content of the section Creating a user to create a user.
      
      
      
      
3. Get the API URL, API Key, and API Secret Key. 
   1. Go to the Datto RMM API page. 
   2. Click Activate the API.
      
      
      
      
   3. Refer to the steps in the Activate the API section on the page to enable the API for this user. Once the API is enabled, you can generate the API Key, the API Secret Key, and the API URL for this user.
      
      
      
      
   4. Copy the values of the API Key, API Secret Key, and API URL. Store these values somewhere secure, as you'll need them for further steps in MSPbots.

2. Sync Datto RMM to MSPbots

1. Log in to MSPbots as an administrator.
2. Navigate to Integrations in the MSPbots app.
   
   
   
   
3. Search for Datto RMM and click it to open the connection settings.
   
   
   

4. Fill in the following fields using the values you copied in Step 1.4.

   • API URL

   • API Key

   • API Secret Key
     
     
     
     

5. Click Save and Sync.

6. When Success appears, it means that the Datto RMM integration has been successfully connected.
